Texe Marrs
Author of Codex Magica — the encyclopedia of elite hand-signs and hidden symbols.
Connector and broadcaster — compiled the most comprehensive visual catalog of alleged occult hand-signs and gestures used by elites, providing a reference source widely cited and shared within the symbol-watch tradition.
Texe Marrs built a visual argument. Where other figures in the tradition worked through etymology, solar mythology, or historical genealogy, Marrs compiled photographs — hundreds of them — in Codex Magica, his encyclopedia of alleged occult hand-signs and gestures. Presidents, royals, entertainers, and religious leaders appear side by side, each displaying what Marrs read as the same initiatic vocabulary: the hidden hand, the triangle, the sign of the horns. Drawing on the Masonic symbolism Pike codified in Morals and Dogma, and on the esoteric encyclopedism of Manly P. Hall, Marrs argued that elites share a covert visual language operating in plain public sight. He appeared regularly in alternative broadcasting, including on Freeman Fly’s show, functioning as a reference source for the symbol-watch wing of the tradition.
